This course focuses on the development of your individual ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team, exploring operational leadership as well as improving day-to-day people and process management.

The course will allow you to benchmark your leadership skills and raise your profile within the organisation.

The ILM Level 5 Certificate is aimed at those with Leadership experience and for those looking to take their next career step, by giving you the opportunity to assess and improve your leadership approach in an innovative healthcare environment.

What will the course cover?

There will be a total of 36 hours of work shops which will be delivered in two blocks of three days (6 hours per day). E learning and workbooks will be used to support learning in the workshops. You will be required to complete some preparation work before each block of workshops.

The following ILM units will be covered during the sessions:

• Assessing your own leadership effectiveness and performance
• Becoming an effective leader
• Developing a culture to support innovation improvement
