Healthcare Support Workers normally undertake a level 2 qualification and work as a member of a multi-disciplinary clinical team. They provide high quality and compassionate patient-focused care by carrying out routine clinical duties.
Senior Healthcare Support Workers normally undertake a level 3 qualification and support registered practitioners in delivering healthcare services by carrying out a range of clinical tasks under supervision.
This programme provides a range of learning opportunities aimed at supporting you in your role as a healthcare professional.
It is for unregistered clinical practitioners working on wards, in outpatients, imaging, pre-op assessment, operating theatres and therapies.
You will participate in professional learning and development activities to achieve and produce an evidence base of clinical competency. You will complete a diploma in Healthcare Support as part of this apprenticeship programme.
Entry Requirements:
- Experience in a healthcare setting is desirable
- Other entry criteria may apply
